Muphrid — a story in three parts
Bonus
You have now reached deeply into the Muphrid website, and as a reward for your diligence, here is some bonus information.
People who know about publishing books, like publishers and author’s agents, will tell an author that he or she should never title the book with the name of the lead character. So a name like Muphrid would never work, because nobody (especially people who might want to buy the book) will know what a muphrid is, much less know that Muphrid is the name of our heroic character whom people would want to read about.
Also, those who know something about publishing will tell authors that a relatively unknown writer with a new novel must keep that novel to a word-count less than ninety-thousand-words, and preferably more like fifty-thousand. So if an author with a one-hundred-forty-thousand-word book wants to publish his book titled Muphrid, he doesn’t have a chance.

However, if an author could split his book into three parts, and price them reasonably, he might be able to attract a few readers with the first part. Then if they like it, they might go ahead to read the second part, and likewise the third.
